
Suzanne Taranto
Suzanne Taranto is a principal and consulting actuary with Milliman. She joined the firm in 2005 and is a leader in the Employer Health and OPEB practices.
Experience
Sue has more than 35 years of employee benefits consulting experience. She provides advice on the design and delivery of comprehensive health and welfare plans for a range of plan sponsors. Sue is an expert in the area of accounting for postemployment benefits and specializes in financial analysis, design, and pricing of retiree medical programs. She is responsible for negotiating and supporting a number of retiree medical trusts, and she has significant healthcare bargaining experience. She supports cost-effective plan and program design through data analytics and marketplace knowledge, and by operationalizing best practices using her experience leading compensation and benefits units of major (Fortune 500) U.S. companies.
