Marcin specializes in life insurance, having more than 25 years of experience in the actuarial profession. Prior to joining Milliman, he worked at the Warsaw office of Ernst & Young. Before that, he served as the chief actuary at several companies in Poland, where he was responsible for the actuarial departments, product development, software development, and reinsurance.
Marcin has been involved in a wide range of projects in Poland and Romania, and other Central and Eastern European markets, including the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Bulgaria, Slovenia, Ukraine, and Russia. His experience covers life and P&C insurance and pension fund business, including the following areas:
- M&A assignments including financial modeling and due diligence
- embedded and appraisal values
- business planning, financial projections
- product development work
- appointed actuary work
- risk management and Solvency II
- market analysis
- insurance regulation.
Marcin is fluent in English, German and Romanian.
