Aleksandra Arrigo is an associate with Milliman’s Property & Casualty Practice in London. She joined Milliman in October 2024. Prior to that she worked at Zurich Insurance as a member of the Reserving team.
Experience
Aleksandra’s experience includes:
- Conducting reserve reviews of various lines of business for an insurer, focusing on both short- and long-tail business, including reserving for large and attritional claims, gross, and net of reinsurance
- Providing key support on multiple reserving projects - investigating each client’s exposure by understanding trends in data, setting methods and assumptions, and explaining results
- Building and analysing an inflation model for commercial lines of business
- Preparing quarterly and annual reports on Solvency II technical provisions and Reserve Committee Packs, presented to senior management
- Performing research into run-off portfolios, Machine-learning, and AI sustainability, as well as reserving trends
Aleksandra is also a member of the Working Group Party on Pensions Gap and Machine Learning by IFoA.

- Aleksandra is currently studying towards becoming a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries.
